You’ll Never Abseil ALONE!

ALONE supported the older community with a Charity Abseil in Croke Park today.

ALONE, the organisation which supports older people to age at home, held a charity abseil in Croke Park in aid of ALONE today, Wednesday 30th of October, with all proceeds raised going to support older people in need.

Companies, teams and individuals participated in this event, which was supported by corporate partners Standard Life, Zurich, Bayer, Ald Re Automotive, Beechfield Healthcare, Red Cow Moran and The Moriarty Group.

The Young Offenders return for a third series

The hit Irish comedy The Young Offenders from producers Vico Films will return on RTÉ2 and BBC Three for a third series in the new year.  Created by Peter Foott, The Young Offenders tells the coming of age adventures of Conor (Alex Murphy) and Jock (Chris Walley) and their mother/guardian Mairead (Hilary Rose) as she tries to keep them on the straight and narrow. The best friends navigate their awkward teenage years, hatching plans and adventures to help distract from their tough home lives and their inability to stay out of trouble.

Fingal County Council work to meet the needs of a growing diverse population

The Mayor of Fingal Cllr Eoghan O’Brien recently launched Fingal County Council’s Migrant Integration & Social Cohesion strategy 2019-2024 in County Hall, Swords, north county Dublin. The main goals of the strategy are to ensure Fingal County Council services meet the needs of the diverse population and contribute to making Fingal a place where all who live, work and visit are valued.
