‘Pension age increase re-writes the social contract in Ireland’, says ALONE

ALONE, the organisation that supports older people at home, has today said that it rejects the recommendation from the Pensions Commission on increasing the State Pension age. The Commission recommended that the State Pension be increased, on a gradual basis, to 68 years of age.

Airlines commit to respecting EU consumer rights

The Irish Travel Agents Association welcomes the announcement of the European Commission and the Consumer Protection Cooperation Network regarding commitments made by 16 major European airlines on their cancellation and reimbursement practices. This outcome is a result of a collective action launched by CPC authorities in February 2021.
